San Elijo Hills

One of the most creative master planned communities in the US is located in the heart of San Diego County. San Elijo Hills is situated just east of Carlsbad and south of San Marcos, California. There is yet to be a high school built in San Elijo Hills, but just north in San Marcos is San Marcos High School. Cal State San Marcos is also just a short 5-10 minute drive from the town center with the new road that was build which connects the back end of San Elijo Hills to San Marcos.

With over 25 completed communities, along with more projected developments, San Elijo Hills is still growing. And the greatest part about the San Elijo Hills community is the growth is now moving east where the views are some of the best in the US. Some newer developments plan to offer 180 degree ocean views stretching from Mexico to Catalina Island. Only few points on the California coast offer these types of views. The most amazing part about this community is the affordability. While most areas throughout San Diego’s coastal communities are unaffordable San Elijo Hills remains one of the few areas where can you find a home that fits your price range.
